From design intent to delivered part
Design, data, simulation, physical measurement and your own team's know-how usually live in five different tools that don't talk to each other. We enhance value in the CAD, PLM, simulation and metrology tools, people and processes you already own — and where a gap can't be closed by any product on the market, we build the application ourselves.
Products
We implement, customise and support the software from the partners we represent — turning the CAD, PLM, simulation and metrology tools you already own into outcomes your team can measure.
Explore Our ProductsThe modeling layer, from concept to production intent
Creo is the core of most engineering teams we work with, so it's the core of what we implement, customize and train on. Around it, we bring in the specialist tools that solve one problem exceptionally well — 2D/3D drafting, photoreal visualization, and cross-system integration.
Creo (PTC)
PTC's parametric and direct-modeling 3D CAD platform — Modeling & Design, Simulation & Analysis, Smart Connected Design and Collaboration in one package, with additive manufacturing, IoT, Model-Based Definition and AR built in. Creo 12.0 adds composite design, generative design with thermal-physics optimization, conformal cooling-channel design for injection tooling, cable-harness design and GD&T Advisor. CADOpt is a Creo reseller and implementation partner in Bangalore since 2014.
Graebert — ARES Trinity
DWG editing across desktop (ARES Commander, Windows/macOS/Linux), mobile (ARES Touch) and browser (ARES Kudo) — from the company whose engine also powers Dassault Systèmes DraftSight, Onshape and Corel's CorelCAD. 40+ years of DWG technology, R&D in Germany, Russia and India.
KeyShot
Real-time ray-tracing rendering with a physically correct render engine — drag-and-drop materials and lighting, native support for 30+ 3D file formats, CPU or GPU rendering, and LiveLinking to keep renders in sync as the design changes. Built for designers, engineers and marketing teams who need photographic-quality images without a dedicated CG specialist.
XPLM
Integration specialists connecting Creo and other MCAD tools to over 100 different PLM, ECAD, ALM, ERP and requirements-management systems, using XSPHERE Federation technology for cross-system data access — plus PLM migration, CAD conversion and PDM/PLM consulting.
One source of truth for every version of the part
Windchill is the platform; everything else on this page exists to make it fit the way your team already works — connectors so designers never have to leave their CAD tool, pre-built apps that remove manual PLM steps, and our own documentation systems for regulated, defence-grade output.
Windchill (PTC)
End-to-end PDM/PLM — PDMLink, PDM Essentials, ProjectLink, PartsLink, MPMLink and Options & Variants — covering BOM management, change and configuration management, requirements management, quality management and 2D/3D visualization with AR, on-premise or in the cloud. We handle installation, configuration, user adoption (role-based needs analysis, training, readiness planning), MultiCAD and ERP integration, and migration from other PDM/PLM platforms.
As PTC reports on its own Windchill materials: customers see up to 200% more projects delivered, 50% faster lead times, 20% higher R&D efficiency and 40% lower cost of non-quality — figures are PTC's published claims, not a CADOpt customer result.
WGM — Windchill connectors for your CAD tool
A CADOpt-built utility that lets you open, check in, check out and revise Windchill-stored files directly from the CAD application you already use — no Windchill browser tab required. Available for ZWCAD, BricsCAD, ARES Commander/Standard and Solid Edge.
Off-the-shelf Windchill & Navigate apps
Nine CADOpt-built apps that remove manual PLM steps: eSignature, Windchill–ERP integration, multi-credential login/logout, automated approver-name propagation to Creo drawings, automated document generation, promotion-request validation, automated baseline creation, plus an RFQ Dashboard, ERP Stock Application and Costing Application built on ThingWorx Navigate.
S1K
A defence-grade technical-publication system built on the PTC Technical Publication Platform — Arbortext structured XML authoring, Windchill SLM CSDB governance, BREX validation and ASD-STE100 enforcement, supporting S1000D, JSS0251/JSG082 and ATA100/iSpec2200 for military aviation, naval, land-defence and aerospace OEM documentation.
OptViewer
CADOpt's own Interactive Electronic Technical Manual viewer — 2D/3D visualization embedded directly in technical documentation, role-based access, licence monitoring, and Class 3–5 IETM support, integrated with Windchill Arbortext for authoring and publishing.
Validate before you cut metal
Cadence, by Hexagon, is our simulation backbone — FEA, CFD, multi-body dynamics and manufacturing-process simulation under one umbrella. Sigmetrix adds tolerance analysis inside Creo itself. And where a project needs hands-on simulation expertise rather than software, our CAE services team works alongside yours.
Cadence, by Hexagon
Five suites covering the physics of a product from material to full system:
- HxGN Digital Materials — material digital twins (Digimat VA/MS/MF/FE/MX), reducing physical prototype testing.
- HxGN Multiphysics — structural, thermal, fluid and acoustic analysis in one ecosystem (Actran, MSC Nastran, Patran, Marc, Dytran, Cradle CFD, MSC Apex).
- HxGN System Dynamics — multibody dynamics, NVH and ADAS development (Adams, Romax, Easy5).
- HxGN Virtual Manufacturing — sheet metal, forging, welding, additive and subtractive process simulation (the Simufact suite), generative design and heat-treatment analysis.
- Design & Development Services — CAE — a dedicated CAE engineering team for drivetrain, gearbox, electric-powertrain and controls work; every project we deliver transfers full design IP to you, white-box.
Sigmetrix CETOL 6σ
3D tolerance analysis built into the Creo modeling process (also compatible with CATIA, SOLIDWORKS and NX) — visualize how a tolerance change ripples through an assembly before it's built, with a guided Reports Wizard from system constraints to sensitivity to final measurements. Sigmetrix is a Gold PTC PartnerAdvantage partner.
Measure the physical part against the digital one
3D scanning only matters if the data goes somewhere — into a CAD comparison, a reverse-engineered model, a benchmarking report, or a materials test. We run the full loop: scan, inspect, reconstruct and validate, using ZEISS scanning hardware and PTC Creo for the CAD side.
3D Scanning
Non-contact laser scanning on the ZEISS T-SCAN Hawk 2 — accuracy to ±0.02 mm, resolution to 0.05 mm, a 20–600 mm measurement volume and DAkkS-certified calibration. Output in STL, ASCII, PLY and OBJ, GOM Inspect-compatible, for dimensional inspection, reverse engineering, digital-twin creation and prototype development.
3D Inspection
CAD-Compare against the design model, feature-based GD&T inspection with real-time deviation colour mapping, 2D cross-section extraction for legacy documentation, and PDF or interactive 3D deviation reports — for first-article inspection, quality assurance and wear-pattern analysis.
3D Reverse Engineering
Scan data rebuilt into parametric, editable Creo models (.prt, .asm, .step) — built for extending the life of legacy components that have no CAD record, with the same comparison-against-original workflow as inspection.
Automotive Benchmarking
Teardown analysis, digital vehicle benchmarking and competitor comparison for OEMs and suppliers assessing design intent, packaging, and manufacturing quality against the market.
Material Testing
Hardness, tensile, compression, microstructure, chemical composition, impact and fatigue testing to ASTM, ISO and DIN standards — determining whether a material is strong, durable or flexible enough for its application.
Proof point: Metrology clients include CVRDE, HAL, EF Avadi and ARX.
Where no product exists, we build one
Twenty-one add-ons to Creo, five named design-automation systems and a mould-base automation module — all built in-house, because some workflows are specific enough to your industry that no third-party product covers them. This is the part of CADOpt that isn't reselling anyone else's software.
CAD Application — 21 Creo add-ons
Grouped across four areas: Administration & Setup (Smart Creo Launcher, Windchill-aware file-operation control), Design & Detailing Automation (Inspection Report, ADVHole Table, Spell Check, Standard Library Notes), Manufacturing & Assembly (Piping Utility, NC Nesting, BOM to Excel, Costing Report, EMX-BOM Report, Mold Base Size Tuning) and Data Export & Integration (Auto PDF & DXF Export, FamInstExport, Library Part Selector, Barcode Generation).
Design Process Automation
Full frame-assembly-and-drawing generation from a set of input parameters, cutting repetitive detailing out of the design cycle. Live automation systems: Switchboard Feeder Design, Pallet Rack Automation, Gear Design Automation, Valve Automation and Canopy Automation (genset manufacturing).
Auto Mould Base (AMB)
A Creo add-on for high-pressure die-casting manufacturers — generates a complete mould-base assembly, drawings and part details from basic component inputs.
